    Angling at the River Roe

    This excellent River Roe salmon and trout fishery is situated in Roe Valley Country Park, near Limavady. A footbridge spans the river upstream of Givan’s Weir, giving anglers easy access to both banks. The River Roe flows from the hills above Dungiven down through the Roe Valley through the Town of Limavady to enter the Foyle Estuary on the north eastern corner of the Foyle Area. The River Roe is a medium sized spate river (5.20 m) with fine runs of sea trout and salmon.     Angling at Binevenagh Lake

    Benone Beach

    Magilligan Strand is a seven-mile stretch of sand backed by one of the largest dune systems in the UK. Popular with surfers, swimmers and walkers, the beach forms part of a local Nature Reserve. There is a cafe, a caravan park and a supervised paddling pool. Boardwalks offer access through the dunes.
