From June 21, 2019 to June 23, 2019. The North Coast Association which is a supporter group for the National Trust holds a number of events throughout the year some of which are open to the public. The midsummer musical event held in the iconic venue of the Mussenden Temple, part of the Downhill Demense, is always a popular one. This year the Ulster Orchestra is returning with an ensemble which will play a variety of light and popular music items. There will be 3 concerts – Friday & Saturday evenings (19:30) and Sunday afternoon (15:00). Booking is essential.
The Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive offers cyclists a choice of 4 routes through an incredible landscape steeped in myth and legend along the spectacular Causeway Coast and through the Glens of Antrim. Approx. 15 miles and 20 minutes by car from “Willow”. The Red Sails Festival – 22nd – 28th July 2019 – is a week long festival featuring a variety of free entertainment and workshops organised by Portstewart Community Association. The festival concludes with a magnificent fireworks finale organised by the Council Events Team at The Crescent, Portstewart.
