    Armoy Road Races

    The Race of Legends (FRIDAY 26TH AND SATURDAY 27TH JULY 2019 ) Over the last 10 years, the Armoy races has firmly established itself as the last weekend in July so It’s time to book your 2019 holiday dates keeping in mind that the Armoy races is now a week long experience starting on Saturday 19th July and continues throughout the week with a festival of community and motoring events culminating in Friday (26th) qualifying and Saturdays (27th) ‘Race of Legends’.

    Dog Leap Rally.     August 3, 2019 Visitors to the area can enjoy the thrilling Dog Leap Rally this August at Shackleton in Ballykelly. Attracting top Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland rally drivers and co-drivers, the events are rated the best rally events off the public roads in Northern Ireland.Added to this is the spectacular Eagles Rock Hillclimb, one of Ireland’s oldest Hillclimbs, previously run by the Coleraine and District Motor Club, Maiden City MC now run this bank holiday week-end event, and draw some top competitors to the spectacular venue, overlooking the Magilligan / Benone resorts.

    Causeway Coast Summer Street Entertainment.   8 Jul 2019 – 31 Aug 2019 Visitors to the Causeway Coast and Glens region can enjoy a variety of street theatre shows during the months of July and August in the various resorts. Suitable for all ages this annual family event is popular with locals and visitors each year.     Mussenden Temple Midsummer Music

    From June 21, 2019 to June 23, 2019. The North Coast Association which is a supporter group for the National Trust holds a number of events throughout the year some of which are open to the public. The midsummer musical event held in the iconic venue of the Mussenden Temple, part of the Downhill Demense, is always a popular one. This year the Ulster Orchestra is returning with an ensemble which will play a variety of light and popular music items. There will be 3 concerts – Friday & Saturday evenings (19:30) and Sunday afternoon (15:00). Booking is essential.

    Giant’s Causeway Sportive 2019

    The Giant’s Causeway Coast Sportive offers cyclists a choice of 4 routes through an incredible landscape steeped in myth and legend along the spectacular Causeway Coast and through the Glens of Antrim.     Red Sails Festival Portstewart

    Approx. 15 miles and 20 minutes by car from “Willow”. The Red Sails Festival – 22nd – 28th July 2019 – is a week long festival featuring a variety of free entertainment and workshops organised by Portstewart Community Association. The festival concludes with a magnificent fireworks finale organised by the Council Events Team at The Crescent, Portstewart.

    2019 Derry Jazz Festival

    The city has a reputation for providing super jazz festivals, indeed any form of music.  You can travel across in the ferry and approach the city from the Innisowen Peninsula or you can travel through Limavady along direct to the Waterside.    You can see more details at their Webs site here.
