Benone is a popular coastal location for tourists and holidaymakers staying on the Northern Causeway coast. It lies in an area called Magilligan and provides a relaxing and beautiful base to explore the nearby Giant’s Causeway, magnificent coasts, cliffs and mountains and history. Portrush and Portstewert are coastal towns with their world famous golf courses and the motor cycle race (North West 200) are but a short trip away. In the summer a ferry operates across the narrows from Northern Ireland to Donegal in the Irish Republic. You can travel to the most northerly point in Ireland in 25 minutes. Londonderry, or Derry, is an historic pocket city 45 minutes along the Foyle river, and from there you have access to central Donegal.
